Terms and conditions for using Codesphere
These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Codesphere website, available at codesphere.app (hereinafter: "Service").

Using the Service means accepting these Terms. If you do not agree with its provisions, please do not use the Service.
These Terms are made available free of charge in a form that enables downloading, saving, and printing.
Service - the Codesphere online platform available at codesphere.app
Service Provider/Operator - the entity specified in section 1 of these Terms
User - any natural person, legal person, or organizational unit using the Service
Consumer - a natural person entering into a legal transaction with the Service Provider not directly related to their business or professional activity (Art. 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code)
Entrepreneur with Consumer Rights - a natural person conducting business activity who enters into a contract directly related to that activity, when the contract content shows that it is not of a professional nature for that person (Art. 385⁵ of the Polish Civil Code)
Tools - functionalities provided in the Service, such as compressors, converters, generators, etc.
Account - individual User account in the Service (if applicable)
FREE Services - tools and features available for free
PRO Services - tools and features available as part of a paid subscription
Digital content - data produced and supplied in digital form
The User agrees to:
- Use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose
- Comply with applicable laws
- Not take actions that may disrupt the Service
- Not submit illegal, offensive content or content violating third-party rights
- Not circumvent technical security measures of the Service
- Not use automated tools for mass use of services (unless written consent is obtained)
The User bears full responsibility for content submitted to the Service when using the tools.
Free Services (FREE):
- Basic tools available to all users
- May be subject to limitations (number of uses, file sizes, etc.)
- Operator reserves the right to display advertisements
Paid Services (PRO):
- Advanced tools and features
- Higher usage limits
- No advertisements
- Priority support
Detailed information about available plans and prices can be found on the pricing page (if applicable).
The Operator reserves the right to:
- Modify tool functionality
- Add new or remove existing tools
- Change access conditions for individual features
The Service, its content, source code, graphics, logos, and other elements are the property of the Operator or its licensors and are protected by copyright.
User:
- May use the Service only for personal purposes or in accordance with the intended use of tools
- May not copy, modify, or distribute Service elements without the Operator's consent
- Retains rights to content they upload (e.g., images for compression)
Operator:
- Does not claim rights to content submitted by Users
- Files submitted to tools are automatically deleted after service completion
Operator's liability to Consumers:
The Operator is liable for conformity of digital content or digital service with the contract under the terms set out in the Consumer Rights Act. Consumers are entitled to remedies for lack of conformity specified in that Act.
Exclusions of liability (do not apply to Consumers to the extent protected by law):
- Service interruptions due to planned maintenance (with 24-hour notice) or force majeure
- Consequences of using the Service contrary to the Terms or law
- Content submitted by Users
Limitation of liability to Business Users (B2B):
In relations with Users who are neither Consumers nor Entrepreneurs with Consumer Rights:
- The Operator is not liable for lost profits
- The Operator's total liability is limited to the fees actually paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the event
- Tools are provided without warranty of fitness for particular purposes
Information about tools:
Tool results are for assistance only. The User is responsible for verifying results and decisions made based on them.
Right of withdrawal:
A Consumer or Entrepreneur with Consumer Rights who has concluded a distance contract may withdraw from it without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.
How to withdraw:
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform the Operator of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g., email to: contact@codesphere.app).
You may use the model withdrawal form (but it is not obligatory):
"I [name and surname] hereby inform that I withdraw from the contract for the provision of the service [service name], concluded on [date]. [Signature - if paper form]"
Effects of withdrawal:
In case of withdrawal, the Operator shall refund all payments received no later than 14 days from the day of receipt of the withdrawal statement.
Exceptions - the right of withdrawal does not apply if:
- The service has been fully performed with the Consumer's express consent, who was informed before the commencement of performance that they will lose the right of withdrawal after performance
- The supply of digital content not on a tangible medium has begun with the Consumer's express consent before the expiry of the withdrawal period and after informing them of the loss of the right of withdrawal
If the Service offers paid services:
Payments:
- Handled by external payment operator
- Prices are shown in the currency indicated on the page and include VAT
- Before making payment, the User receives full information about the total price
Subscriptions:
- Renewed automatically for the next billing period
- Before each automatic renewal, the User receives an email reminder (min. 7 days before)
- Cancellation possible at any time in account settings
- Cancellation results in non-renewal for the next period; access to PRO services remains active until the end of the paid period
Refunds for Consumers:
Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days (see section 7). In case of withdrawal after the commencement of service performance, the Consumer bears costs proportional to the scope of performance provided.
Price changes:
- We inform about price changes with 30 days' notice
- Price change does not affect already paid subscription period
- The User may not accept the new price and cancel the subscription
Consumer complaints (lack of conformity with contract):
If digital content or digital service does not conform with the contract, the Consumer may request that it be brought into conformity. If this is impossible or requires excessive costs, the Consumer may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract.

Complaint should include:
- Data identifying the User (name, email)
- Description of the problem and circumstances of its occurrence
- Date of occurrence
- User's request (e.g., repair, price reduction, refund)
Processing time:
- 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the complaint
- No response within this period means the complaint is accepted
Liability for non-conformity:
The Operator is liable for lack of conformity of digital content or digital service with the contract that existed at the time of delivery and was revealed within 2 years from that time.

Using the Service involves data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Personal Data Protection Act.
The Operator reserves the right to change the Terms for important reasons, such as:
- Changes in law affecting the services provided
- Changes in the scope or manner of service provision
- Need to adapt to new technical or security requirements
We inform about changes through:
- Publishing a new version on this page with clear indication of changes
- Email notification (for users with accounts) with at least 14 days' notice
Acceptance of changes:
- Users with accounts will be asked to accept the new Terms upon next login
- Non-acceptance of changes entitles termination of the contract without costs
- Changes to Terms do not affect services paid for before the changes take effect
For one-time services (without account):
The Terms in force on the day of using the service apply.
Out-of-court dispute resolution:
Consumers may use out-of-court complaint resolution and redress methods:
- Mediation conducted by provincial trade inspection offices
- Permanent consumer arbitration courts at provincial trade inspection offices
- Assistance from district (municipal) consumer ombudsmen
ODR Platform:
EU consumers may use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform:

The Operator is not obliged and does not agree to participate in out-of-court consumer dispute resolution proceedings.
Competent court:
- For Consumers: court competent under general provisions (usually the court of the Consumer's place of residence)
- For Business Users: court competent for the Operator's seat
Governing law:
These Terms are governed by Polish law. The choice of Polish law does not deprive Consumers of protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of their habitual residence.
Severability clause:
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions remain in force. In place of the invalid provision, relevant provisions of law shall apply.
Separability of provisions:
Section headings are informational and do not affect interpretation of the Terms.
Entry into force:
These Terms enter into force on February 1, 2026.
Applicable regulations:
In matters not regulated by these Terms, the following shall apply:
- Civil Code
- Consumer Rights Act
- Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means
- GDPR
