By using the Text diff tool, you accept the following terms of use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Text diff tool, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Service Description

Text diff is a free online tool for comparing two texts. The tool works entirely locally in your browser — no data is sent to any server.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time without prior notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the tool only for lawful purposes. The following is prohibited:

  • Attempting to bypass security measures or disrupt the service
  • Automated use of the service that excessively burdens resources
  • Using the tool in a way that violates the rights of third parties

4. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain full rights to all texts you compare using the tool. Since processing happens locally, we have no access to your content and do not claim any rights to it.

5. Technology

The tool uses Monaco Editor (the editor from Visual Studio Code) for text comparison. Monaco Editor is open-source software under the MIT license.

6. Limitation of Liability

The tool is provided "as-is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes will be resolved by courts competent for the service provider's registered office.
